License for Dummies
We have done photo licensing really simple on Foap and you don’t need to be an Einstein to understand.
Here are three questions that will help you grasp how easy our photo license works.
1. Do all photos on Foap cost $10?
Yes, all Foap photos cost $10 regardless of where you use them: social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest…), digital, TV, print, T-shirts, bags, postcards. Yes, even if you would sell products with photos from Foap on it. It’s the same price. No limits on the number of impressions, across all platforms.
Moreover our license allows you to use images globally. Use our photos across your channels in the United States, Europe, Asia, Latin America, Africa and Oceania. Yes, Antarctica as well. At the same time if you’d like to. Same price: $10 for a photo.
Perpetual rights, i.e, no time limits. Once you purchase the license of a photo on Foap you can use our photos for as long as you wish. Simple. We’ll never call you after your license expires. It never expires.
2. What’s the difference between “Commercial” and “Editorial” license on Foap?
Commercial photos can be used for commercial purpose. Editorial photos can’t. In practice, it means that photos with Editorial license can only be used in a context where you are not selling anything. It could be a newspaper, a blog, an educational book, a Power Point presentation.
3. Can I edit a photo that I purchased on Foap?
Yes, you can. Feel free to crop, resize, adjust colors, etc. You can also use your logo or a copy over the picture.
